General terms
1. Parties and legal character
Cards Hub S.r.l., Via Giacomo Matteotti 4, 42122 Reggio Emilia (RE), Italy, VAT/Tax ID IT03130470358, REA RE-370083, PEC cardshubsrl@pec.it ("Cards Hub"), and the Consignor identified in the customer profile and submission summary enter into a commission agreement under Articles 1731 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code. Cards Hub sells in its own name for the Consignor's account and is the seller toward the buyer. Delivery into custody is not a sale to Cards Hub. Ownership remains with the Consignor until valid transfer to a buyer.
2. Agreement package and priorities
The customer details and electronic approvals recorded with the submission, accepted inventory, these Core Terms, the applicable integrated payout schedule(s), the privacy notice and any expressly accepted advance record form this Agreement. Cards Hub assigns the submission ID and prepares records. The Consignor chooses one settlement method for the whole submission: bank transfer or store credit. The choice is recorded in the approved summary and inventory before submission and included in their digests. A later inventory must identify this Agreement and be accepted in writing before listing. Schedule A governs Traditional eBay economics; Schedule B governs Live economics. The inventory identifies lots, channels and settlement method, but cannot create a reserve or guaranteed minimum. Changing the settlement method after acceptance requires a new written agreement identifying the amendment; it does not happen automatically. Any other amendment must identify the provision changed and be accepted by both parties in writing. Unaccepted graphics or website updates do not amend signed terms. This version applies to new submissions that accept it and does not retroactively change previously accepted agreements, including version 4.2.
3. Exclusive appointment
For accepted lots, Cards Hub is exclusively authorized to receive, safeguard, photograph, describe, market, list and sell; collect buyer funds; issue transaction documents; ship; communicate with buyers and platforms; handle returns and disputes; and take reasonable steps to complete, defend or reverse transactions. Cards Hub may reject a lot before listing for title, authenticity, condition, compliance or commercial reasons.
4. Auction channels and scheduling
Both Traditional eBay and eBay Live use auctions under this Agreement. Fixed-price sales and offers are not authorized by this Agreement. Cards Hub determines auction order, duration, presentation and reasonable scheduling or rescheduling within the selected channel. For Live, Cards Hub aims, where practicable, to sell the accepted batch in the same livestream; this is not a guarantee of sale or timing. Mixed consignments identify the channel for each lot. Changing a lot's channel requires written agreement because its payout basis changes.
5. Delivery, intake and evidence
Inbound delivery risk remains with the Consignor until Cards Hub records physical receipt. A courier scan does not establish package contents, condition or acceptance. Cards Hub may record opening, packaging, card images, serial/certificate numbers, condition and discrepancies, and assign lot IDs. The intake record is evidence, not a grading opinion. Report any discrepancy promptly, preferably within three Business Days after the record is made available; mandatory rights remain unaffected. Rejected items are returned under agreed arrangements and documented costs.
6. Ownership, authority and disclosure
The Consignor warrants lawful ownership or full authority to consign, transferable title and no undisclosed lien, theft claim, adverse ownership claim, counterfeit feature, alteration or unlawful provenance. Disclose damage, trimming, recoloring, restoration, autograph concerns, grading rejections, certificate anomalies and applicable export restrictions. A representative must identify the owner and provide evidence of authority when requested.
7. Universal EUR 1 start; no reserve or minimum payout
Every lot, through either channel, starts at exactly EUR 1 with no reserve price and no guaranteed minimum gross price or net payout. The Consignor expressly accepts sale to the highest valid bidder at the auction close, including for EUR 1, even substantially below estimates, market value or an advance. Estimates are indicative only. Cards Hub guarantees neither acceptance, sale, timing, grade, authentication, profit nor outcome. No reserve selection, minimum-net instruction or per-lot no-reserve initial is required.
8. Auction start and revocation
Before auction start, an unlisted lot may be withdrawn on ten Business Days' written notice, subject to accrued approved costs and repayment of attributable advances. From auction start, the Consignor undertakes not to revoke or change the sale instruction. Traditional auctions start when publicly active and able to receive bids or pre-bids; drafts and scheduled listings do not count. A Live auction starts when bidding or pre-bidding first opens for the lot. A low price is not a reason to cancel. Exceptions include mandatory law, eBay directions, material listing error, documented fraud, loss, damage, non-payment or other documented just cause. A wrongful attempted revocation may entail directly caused, documented costs and loss, to the extent lawful. Consumer service-withdrawal rights in the Privacy and consumer information section prevail where applicable.
9. Buyer contract, payment and title
The buyer contract forms when eBay records the binding winning bid at auction close under its rules. A Cleared Sale requires full buyer payment available to Cards Hub and completion of applicable initial payment or authentication checks. Cards Hub is authorized to transfer valid title to the buyer; the parties intend transfer no earlier than full cleared payment, to the extent consistent with mandatory law, eBay terms and the buyer contract. This does not displace buyer delivery or risk rights. Final Settlement is the internal accounting stage after delivery, applicable return periods and identified holds are resolved or covered under clause 12; it is not the time of buyer contract formation. A refunded, cancelled or reversed transaction is adjusted accordingly.
10. Payout rates, charges and set-off
Use the selected channel’s schedule in the Integrated fee schedules section. The payout band continues to depend on eligible gross item sales: each sold lot or listing for Traditional eBay, and the accepted Live consignment total for Live. Shipping collected from buyers is applied to fulfilment and is not item-sale proceeds. For each sale, the calculation base is the eligible gross item proceeds less the actual eBay fees charged and documented for that sale, including applicable adjustments. For bank transfer, the Consignor’s payout percentage is applied to that base; for store credit, the same base receives 100% for eBay Live and the Schedule A rate for Traditional eBay, equal to the bank-transfer percentage plus five percentage points, capped at 97%. In both cases, the fixed handling charge per sold listing is then deducted, at EUR 1.49 for Traditional eBay and EUR 0.50 for eBay Live, together with other permitted documented deductions. eBay fees are therefore removed before applying the payout percentage; any cost already included in actual eBay fees is not charged again as another deduction. The statement separately shows gross proceeds, eBay fees, calculation base, payout percentage, Cards Hub compensation, handling charge, other deductions and amount due. Shipping adjustments, international, promotional and currency charges, approved external costs, valid buyer refunds, non-refundable transaction or dispute costs, and taxes or withholding required by law must be itemized without duplication. Optional grading or other external services require prior written approval of the charge or cost cap. Advances already paid are then deducted from the amount due. Amounts are stated in EUR and rounded to the nearest cent per listing. Negative lot balances may be set off against proceeds of the same Consignor’s other delivered cards; no net minimum or zero floor is guaranteed. Choosing store credit does not cancel a debt or cause credit to be issued for a negative amount. Unsold cards themselves are not cash proceeds.
11. Payment timing and statements
Business Days are Monday to Friday excluding Italian public holidays. For both channels and both settlement methods, payment or credit issuance follows the relevant buyer funds becoming cleared and available to Cards Hub and expiry of the applicable return period. For eBay Live, Cards Hub initiates the bank transfer or issues store credit for the undisputed net amount within five Business Days after both conditions are met, subject to documented holds under clause 12. There is no need to wait for every card in the consignment to sell. Subsequent valid corrections under clause 13 remain possible. Cards Hub provides an itemized statement showing sales, channel, settlement method, rate basis, charges, advances, offsets, holds and balance. Bank transfers require valid bank details. Store credit is issued in EUR to the native Shopify store credit account associated with the Consignor’s Cards Hub customer account and becomes available only when Shopify actually records the credit transaction; an amount awaiting settlement is not yet spendable store credit. It can be used for Cards Hub purchases in EUR through checkouts that support store credit, while signed in to that same customer account. No expiry date is set, subject to any mandatory legal requirements. The chosen store credit does not provide automatic conversion to cash or bank transfer. This choice does not limit mandatory rights: withdrawal, returns and refunds for purchases paid with credit follow applicable law and the original payment method, unless otherwise validly agreed. Delays caused by missing or invalid details or accounts are notified and settlement resumes promptly once corrected.
12. Documented payout holds
The ordinary hold is zero. A hold requires a documented return, cancellation, chargeback, authenticity, delivery, title, fraud, tax or legal issue, or an actual platform/payment-provider hold affecting the proceeds. Hold no more than the documented exposure of the affected lot or the amount actually withheld by the provider. A general provider hold may be allocated pro rata by gross value only among affected unsettled sales, not unrelated completed payouts. Within two Business Days, identify the affected lots, reason, amount, calculation and review date in writing. Pay unaffected amounts on time. Review at least every fifteen Business Days, reduce as exposure falls and release unused funds within five Business Days after resolution or provider release. The 180-day limit applies unless a named dispute, investigation or legal/provider case remains formally open; provide updates every thirty days thereafter. No hold for ordinary liquidity or hypothetical market risk is permitted. A payout hold is not insurance and is not an auction reserve.
13. Returns, reversals and recovery
Cards Hub handles returns, cancellations, delivery claims, authenticity claims and chargebacks according to law, evidence and eBay rules. Live sales are not treated as universally exempt from mandatory consumer withdrawal or conformity rights. Cards Hub does not guarantee buyer performance or assume a star del credere obligation under Article 1736 of the Civil Code without a separate express written agreement. A valid reversal, refund or correction may require recalculation and recovery of an overpayment, including after a bank transfer or store credit issuance. Cards Hub provides the written calculation and may offset a documented amount against other sums due to the same Consignor or request repayment within applicable legal limits. Any reversal of issued store credit must be recorded separately and limited to the amount being recovered, without altering unrelated credit or recovering the same amount twice. Credit already spent is not treated as recovered without an actual documented offset or repayment. No duplicate recovery is permitted. Mandatory refund and original-payment-method rights remain unaffected. Cards Hub uses reasonable efforts to pursue materially substituted returns, carrier or platform claims, but does not guarantee recovery.
14. Optional advances before sale
Only after recorded physical receipt of the relevant card(s), Cards Hub may, at its sole discretion, offer an advance against future net proceeds, including before any auction is listed. There is no automatic entitlement. Before payment, the parties record and accept the amount, covered lots or batch, payment details and a repayment deadline or repayment terms in an additional agreement linked to the submission or an equivalent written record. A blank section creates no advance commitment. The advance is not a purchase by Cards Hub, not a guaranteed valuation or minimum payout, and carries no interest or separate advance fee under this Agreement. Deduct it from the Consignor's net proceeds after fees and costs. Any shortfall may be offset against proceeds from other cards delivered by the same Consignor. Any residual advance remains repayable under the agreed terms, including following withdrawal, return of the cards, a reversed sale, or termination with cards unsold. Cards Hub provides a reconciliation and cannot recover the same advance twice. The EUR 1 no-reserve rule remains unchanged.
15. Auction integrity
The Consignor, beneficial owner and connected persons must not bid on, buy through a nominee, finance or reimburse bids on, or manipulate a consigned auction. Connected persons include family/household members, employees, agents, affiliates and controlled accounts. False bids, coordinated bidding, bid shielding, manipulative retractions and concealed identities are prohibited. The same rules apply to Cards Hub owners, hosts, personnel and affiliates. Any purchase by Cards Hub must occur before auction start under a separate written purchase agreement; it is not a commission sale or an advance. Suspected manipulation may lead to evidence preservation, suspension, lawful cancellation, reporting, termination and recovery of directly caused, documented costs and loss.
16. Exclusivity and non-circumvention
During the mandate the Consignor must not list, negotiate, accept payment for or sell the consigned lot independently of Cards Hub and eBay. Refer enquiries to Cards Hub and do not divert an eBay-originated transaction to social media, another marketplace or direct payment. For six months after lawful withdrawal or expiry, this restriction continues only for buyers, bidders or leads first introduced through Cards Hub, its listing or its Live event. To the extent lawful, a breach may entitle Cards Hub to the commission applicable to the documented actual off-platform sale price, plus directly caused platform charges and documented loss without double recovery. No reserve price or minimum-net threshold is used to calculate that remedy.
17. Uninsured custody and movement
No insurance cover is provided or arranged by Cards Hub under this Agreement, for storage, handling or transport. No insurance premium, insured value, policy selection or coverage declaration is required. The Consignor acknowledges the absence of insurance; receipt or acceptance of a card does not create insurance. Cards Hub must exercise reasonable care, keep item-level records and restrict access. Items may move as reasonably needed to storage, photography, livestream/event, approved grading or authentication, courier, buyer or return locations. Extra-cost services require the approval described in clause 10. Any independent insurance arranged by the Consignor is outside this Agreement and does not expand Cards Hub's obligations. Inbound risk is governed by clause 5; return shipping arrangements and applicable risk rules must be stated in the return instruction.
18. Loss, damage and liability
The absence of insurance does not waive Cards Hub's custody obligations or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability for physical loss or damage depends on the applicable legal basis and evidence of the event and resulting direct loss; there is no automatic insurance payout or agreed insured-value cap. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights. Otherwise, to the extent lawful, liability is limited to direct, reasonably foreseeable loss caused by Cards Hub's breach, excluding mere market movement, lost opportunity, sentimental value and buyer default not attributable to Cards Hub. No double recovery is permitted.
19. Third parties, compliance and content
Cards Hub may use eBay, payment providers, graders, authenticators, hosts, venues, imaging/storage/IT providers, couriers, customs and professional advisers. Subject to mandatory law and Cards Hub's own duties, it does not guarantee an independent third party's decision, service availability or performance when reasonable care has been used in selection and instruction. Both parties must comply with applicable marketplace, consumer, tax, customs, sanctions, anti-fraud and data-protection rules. The Consignor authorizes photography, filming, livestream display, translation and publication of the items for sale, transaction evidence and archive, including anonymized portfolio history. Cards Hub retains rights in its original photographs, copy and workflow materials, subject to third-party rights and the privacy notice.
20. Term, suspension and general terms
Either party may terminate this framework on thirty days' written notice, while accepted active lots continue through sale, lawful withdrawal, return and reconciliation, including advance repayment. Cards Hub may suspend for non-payment, material breach or documented safety, legality, title, authenticity or fraud concerns. To the extent lawful, the Consignor indemnifies Cards Hub for third-party claims directly caused by defective title, counterfeit/altered items, false disclosures, prohibited bidding, circumvention or another Consignor breach; this does not excuse Cards Hub's own non-excludable liability. Italian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable to them. Reggio Emilia courts have exclusive jurisdiction for business Consignors; mandatory consumer jurisdiction prevails. Notices and approvals may be sent to the contact details in this Agreement. Electronic approvals are accepted where legally effective; typing a name in a field alone does not establish identity or a qualified electronic signature. Invalid provisions are adjusted only as necessary and the rest survives. Consumer rights concerning this service are explained in the Privacy and consumer information section.
Integrated fee schedules v1.3
Schedules A and B v1.3 are displayed and accepted with agreement v4.3 and the settlement method chosen for the whole submission. The channel remains specified for each listing. The following bands depend on eligible GROSS item-sale value, excluding shipping. Bank-transfer and store-credit percentages are applied to the calculation base after actual documented eBay fees have been deducted. Live store credit always receives 100% of that base; Traditional eBay store credit follows its own column, up to 97%.
GROSS SALES VALUE (EUR) | A BANK TRANSFER | A STORE CREDIT | B LIVE BANK TRANSFER | B LIVE STORE CREDIT
Band per sold listing | Band on the Live consignment total
Below 20 | 78% | 83% | 78% | 100%
20 - 49.99 | 78% | 83% | 88% | 100%
50 - 99.99 | 82% | 87% | 90% | 100%
100 - 249.99 | 85% | 90% | 92% | 100%
250 - 499.99 | 87% | 92% | 93% | 100%
500 - 999.99 | 89% | 94% | 94% | 100%
1,000 - 2,499.99 | 91% | 96% | 95% | 100%
2,500 - 4,999.99 | 93% | 97% | 95.5% | 100%
5,000 - 9,999.99 | 94% | 97% | 95.5% | 100%
10,000 and above | 95% | 97% | 96% | 100%
Calculation base per listing = eligible gross item-sale proceeds less actual documented eBay fees.
Bank transfer = calculation base multiplied by the band’s payout percentage, less fixed handling and other permitted deductions.
Live store credit = 100% of the calculation base, less fixed handling and other permitted deductions. Traditional eBay store credit = calculation base multiplied by the A STORE CREDIT column’s percentage, less fixed handling and other permitted deductions. The Traditional credit percentage is five percentage points above bank transfer, capped at 97%.
A - Traditional eBay. Each listing’s gross proceeds determine the band for both methods, including 78% by bank transfer and 83% by store credit below EUR 20. Fixed handling: EUR 1.49 per sold listing, for either settlement method.
B - eBay Live. The accepted consignment’s total eligible gross Live sales determine a single bank-transfer percentage for those sales, including individual cards below EUR 20. Traditional sales and unrelated consignments are excluded. Fixed handling: EUR 0.50 per sold listing, for either method. If eligible total sales remain below EUR 20, the bank-transfer percentage is 78%. Store credit retains 100% of the base after eBay fees, regardless of band.
Fees and other deductions. Actual documented eBay fees and applicable adjustments are used, with no assumed eBay rate or promise that those fees are included. Shipping, international, promotional, currency and other permitted clause 10 deductions are itemized, charged at cost where specified and never duplicated. A cost already included in eBay fees deducted from the base is not subtracted again. No insurance charge is imposed under this Agreement.
Live across multiple streams and progressive settlement. The same consignment remains aggregated across streams. For bank transfer, an interim band uses the gross value of sales that have cleared and become eligible after the return period; the percentage applies to each listing’s net calculation base. Later eligible sales may trigger recalculation and adjustments on earlier sales. Store credit receives 100% of each sale’s calculation base once eligible, without waiting for every card to sell. Undisputed amounts and adjustments are settled through the accepted method within five Business Days after both cleared funds and expiry of the return period for the sales generating them. Unsold, unpaid and reversed sales do not generate proceeds; valid corrections follow clause 13.
Illustrative calculation only. A Traditional eBay listing sold for EUR 100 with EUR 13 in actual eBay fees has a calculation base of EUR 87 and an 85% band. With no other costs, bank transfer is 87 × 85% - 1.49 = EUR 72.46; Traditional store credit, at the 90% band, is 87 × 90% - 1.49 = EUR 76.81. For a Live consignment with total gross sales of EUR 100, one listing and the same hypothetical fees, bank transfer is 87 × 92% - 0.50 = EUR 79.54 and Live credit is 87 - 0.50 = EUR 86.50. The EUR 13 is an arithmetic assumption, not a guaranteed eBay fee. Amounts are rounded to the nearest cent per listing.
Low-value sales and offsets. A Traditional listing sold for EUR 1, assuming zero eBay fees and no other costs, yields 0.78 - 1.49 = EUR -0.71 for bank transfer or 0.83 - 1.49 = EUR -0.66 for Traditional store credit. Actual fees and costs may increase the negative balance. No minimum is guaranteed and negative credit is not issued. Debt is itemized and may be offset within the Agreement’s limits; the same amount cannot be recovered twice.
Store credit. The choice is recorded before submission and applies to the whole submission. Actual credit issuance is made to the Cards Hub Shopify customer account in EUR after cleared funds and returns. No expiry date is set, subject to mandatory requirements. Automatic conversion to cash is not provided. Legal rights, refunds and the original payment method for purchases remain protected.
Versions and amendments. These schedules govern only submissions accepting version 4.3. Previously accepted submissions retain their own agreement and fee schedule, including v4.2 and v1.2. Later amendments require a new written agreement and do not retroactively change completed sales. Estimates, graphics and messages not accepted by the parties do not alter agreed terms.

CONSUMER SERVICE WITHDRAWAL - ONLY WHERE APPLICABLE
This section concerns the Consignor's contract for Cards Hub's service, separately from an eBay buyer's rights. If you act as a consumer
and conclude this service contract at a distance or off-premises, you generally have 14 days from conclusion to withdraw without giving
a reason; a longer mandatory period applies where required, including 30 days in applicable unsolicited home-visit or
promotional-excursion cases. Mandatory extensions for missing information remain unaffected. Notify Cards Hub at the postal or email
address above before the deadline with a clear statement. You may use the model below, but are not obliged to.
On valid withdrawal, Cards Hub refunds amounts received from you for the service within the applicable statutory period, generally
fourteen days from notice, using the same payment means unless otherwise agreed. If you expressly requested early performance, only
lawful proportionate charges for services already supplied and approved non-refundable third-party costs, where recoverable by law,
may be due. Without a valid early-start request, no charge is imposed for that early performance where prohibited. The right is lost after
full service performance only with the legally required prior express consent and acknowledgement. Advance repayment and card-return
arrangements are reconciled separately, subject to mandatory law.
Early start - optional; leave blank to wait until the applicable withdrawal period ends. For an applicable consumer distance/off-premises
contract, tick both only if you want early performance. Otherwise this section is not used.
I expressly request Cards Hub to begin the service, including listing and sale, before my applicable withdrawal period
expires.
I acknowledge that after full performance I lose my withdrawal right where legally permitted, and that lawful proportionate
charges may apply if I withdraw after requesting early performance.
Early start: the two optional choices are recorded separately with the consumer account and timestamp.
